Cosmetic Defects (Seconds)
These chimes may have minor cosmetic imperfections such as light scratches, small paint chips, or slight finish variations.
These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the sound or performance of the chime. Because of this, they are offered at a discounted price.
A great way to enjoy the same beautiful sound at a lower price.
All cosmetic imperfections are visual only and do not impact the tone or tuning of the chime.

Due to our packing process, individual chimes are not photographed prior to shipping, and specific cosmetic variations cannot be selected.
When is my order going to ship?
Most orders ship within a few business days. Larger chimes or high-volume orders may take a little longer to prepare.
If you need your order to ship on a specific date, we’re happy to accommodate delayed shipping—just let us know at checkout or contact us.

What is the shipping cost for my order?
We offer free ground shipping (UPS, USPS, or FedEx) within the 48 contiguous United States on all wind chimes, with the exception of our largest sizes (Contrabass and Basso Profundo).
For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, international destinations, or for freight quotes on Contrabass and Basso Profundo chimes, please email customerservice@motschimes.com.
Can I pick up my order at the shop?
Surely, just note it and we will call you when it is ready for you. If you have a certain date when you are going to be in the neighborhood, tell us and it’ll be waiting for you.

Yes, we ship internationally. Shipping costs vary depending on destination and product size.

ACTIVITY LEVEL
Wind chimes respond differently depending on wind exposure and where they are hung. If your chime seems too active or not active enough, try the adjustments below.
1. If your chime is NOT active enough, hang it from the knot closer to the chime, or you can tie another overhand knot close to that one. Do not hang from a hook or a length of cord or chain. Also, you can use a bigger windcatcher. Mail the one you have back to us and we will send you the next bigger size out at no charge.2. If your chime is TOO active you can remove the detachable windcatcher. If it is not active enough after removing the windcatcher, mail your windcatcher in for exchange for a smaller one or purchase a smaller one on our website. windcatchers
