Our founder, musician Larry Roark, recreated musical tunings inspired by cultures around the world so you can create a beautiful outdoor music experience at home. By hanging multiple chimes in the same tuning, but in different sizes and tones, the chimes naturally harmonize to create a rich “ensemble” effect — like voices singing together.

Many people begin with one chime and add additional sizes over time to build their own personalized backyard choir. Others enjoy blending complementary tunings to create even more unique musical combinations.

Optimal combinations are:
Pentatonic + Hawaiian Mongolian + Aquarian Chinese + Japanese + Balinese
